We also wanted to let you know directly that Microsoft SmartScreen Filter will not only begin flagging all products with searchprotection functionality, but also products where this functionality has been disabled but the code lies dormant. The decision to flag will be basedon software signatures.
Microsoft has provided an email for publishers to whitelist their products. It requiresthat publishers submit both the old non-compliant build and the new compliant build for review: firstname.lastname@example.org
